This works absolutely fine and requires no update whatsoever. Make sure you have enabled out-of-date mods.

Very good mod and makes the campaign more strategically meaningful. But just a suggestion: remove weapon and armor leveling up from provinces because we already have some regions that give us upgraded armor and weapon such as Koria and with this mod these regions become less important

Stats are not proportional in battle engine. A unit of 50 attack is not essentialy 2 times better than one with 25. Also history was not balanced. If you see battle results and casualties of various Roman victories you will agree with me..
To be totally honest though in this mod stats were not picked in all cases with strictly historic criteria. In some cases personal judgement came into play so I dont reject the idea that some imbalances may exist..
From 6000 current subscribers and many more in the past I dont get many complaints conserning balancing but this does not mean that stat values are carved in stone and cannot be changed. :steamhappy:

very unblanced, roman units now have over 50 attack so to beat them i essentailly need to outnumber them 2 to 1 every time

Unfortunately this cannot be done my friend. I already have a list with all the provinces adding something up above in the description. If however I can think of a way to do what you ask I will surely add it. From what I can think of currently there is sadly no such possibility from the game mechanics.

When you ever get the opportunity could you add a way to observe the bonuses on the strategic map, so we could see them all in one place? Currently to view them we have to click on province view and hover over the tiny icon. You could make strategic map icons similar to the ones that exist for resources and I could quickly make a decision about where to recruit which unit. It would be awesome if you could do this!

You are right. I will reduce it to 3.
For the provinces I have no bonuses it is because I had no specific historic data and I didnt want to improvise or speculate.
For Asia minor i dont remember.. When I go to change the pella bonus will check this also.

i mean im fine with the exstra recrutment but 5 seems way to much 3 at the max since hordes give 3. also seems to be no bonus in galic provence and did you remove the mountan wonder in Asia Minor?

Greek Macedon was under costant pressure of its neighbours. Dardanians, successors, southern Greeks etc. There was a costant fighting and a social reform was made (although to be honest this reform mainly took place a bit later after the defeat of Cynos Cephalae) so that the Macedon troops were costantly supplied with new souls. I tried to represent this with those extra recruitment caps. After all Macedon was quite rich and could afford extensive new reqruiments. Maybe this 5 value is a bit too much compared with the game standards but I wanted to make those regions count and have a meaning. I wanted to give the player a strong motive to take a certain region or keept it no matter what.
P.S this mod is not stricktly historic but lets say historic inspired. It aims to a more strategic gameplay :steamhappy:

Bonuses have fixed values and do not change with time. Maybe you are using other mods that alter effects (bonuses) and there is some sort of conflict? Effect bonuses is a very common table and even if I try with various trics to keep the mods as much conflict-free as possible it is not always easy..

I have one question about point 8 though. Do the bonuses get a bit crazy?... As in two armies will sit their duking it out for an overly long time or strange things happening due to an imbalance of bonuses?

Effects cannot be lost. Only explanations i can think of are that maybe Ui cannot show all active effects , random bug that will be fixed on the next turns or reload or finally mod conflict.

Sorry for the late response. I think not my friend. Only effects that can be applied as an upgrade are armor, weapon and cavalry speed buffs

great mod but can the effects on the spartan infantry be applied as an upgraded rather it being for new recruits because my generals don't get the same buff as the new recruits and it bothers me

The geographicaly correct place even without shown in the game map is the province just north of Athens.I think in Rome 2 is named Thessaly (I havent played for quite some time and i forget how they named it..)
