I'm all for tough enemies, or variety but these things.. most if not all underground based enemies start above ground so you know they are there, off screen like mom hands laugh, these guy you just have no clue they are their till they pop out and hit you, just dumb enemy design. So i say goodbye to them with this mod.

lost the best delirium tainted eve run
i had brimstone, polyphemus, so much blood clots i could tank hush completely, book of shadows, goat head.
my brimstone laser was slower than the blood clot counter so i could not stop myself from losing hearts and a needle hides behind the blood clots and one shots me.
Worst enemy in the game with 0 ways to predict there's one in the room unless it's too late

Literally lost the best Lost run I have ever seen to one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I have made a no Pasty mod that should be compatible with this.

Cheers, lad. Those Needles are just aids. Is there any chance you can update this mod to also include Pasty? They're the skeleton version of Needles encountered in Ashpit, one of the Alt-Paths. They behave the same way as Needles, except they also have a 4-direction tear-burst when coming out of the ground, which makes them even WORSE than Needles >_>

The needles are a big point as to why repentance left a sour taste in my mouth. Not enough new enemies for the base floors, so they spammed needles everywhere. Why have an enemy on every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ floor? Thank you for this

Usually I am not for removing enemies from games, but in this case? ♥♥♥♥ yes. absolutely hate Needles. They appear where I am walking without any indicator that they were in the room to begin with, too much damn health, appear for a couple frames, then disappear instantly.

Not even Bloat is as annoying as the needles...because you actually see that you are fighting bloat before you get hit...UNLIKE WITH NEEDLES
