Hmmm, it certainly doesn't seem to conflict with other mods.
It's working fine in my environment so it's very difficult to identify the problem.

Any of these may be in conflict with CountBlocks.
It looks like we need to find out which one is in conflict.

Try restarting FTD after deleting the file "disabled.json" in this location.

Is the FTD you are using a stable version?

Is a string like "Count Blocks v1.0.0 Active!" Displayed at the bottom right of the main menu?

currently running at 3.4 and the mod doesn't seem to load in the V menu. What am I doing wrong?

"VRM_Loader" has been updated.

Probably there is a problem with "VRM_Loader", so I will update "VRM_Loader" after a while.

Latest updated seems to somehow be conflicting with VRM_Loader, if both mods are enable only countBlocks will load and FtD won't report any errors.
