You are right @Leon, but dw its mostly visual, a 0.01 dmg difference in practice will not make a difference you will kill enemies with the same number of tears.

i would like to ask you, do you think you can change the multiplier from 1.33 to 1.34 please? this gives you the full damage (0.75*1.34=1.005)

I don't get all the people who come in here just to say they don't think 20/20 needs to be buffed. It's a mod. If you don't use it, it has no effect on your game. I have no interest in changing my character sprites but I don't go into all those mod pages and complain, I just skip over them. I personally am looking forward to getting all the nerfed items back to their previous state which is why I'm here. Thanks for the mod.

No one is forcing you to use it and no one is questioning Edmund's decision to nerf it, I actually think it's good game design to nerf it, I just made this mod to revert it bcs I'm used to 20/20 not having a dmg down for about 5+ years, it's a matter of habit that's all.

20/20 has 75% damage in repentance and if you want to make it 100%, multiply 1.33 instead if 1.25.
total damage is 93.71% in current version.
mod is not broken, but you have to change constant.

@RedRhetoric absolutely ipecac shouldn't do self damage
have you never gotten trisagion + ipecac?
there's so many synergies where getting ipecac becomes a run-ender which is no fun.

20/20 doesn't need its nerf revoked, shot-increasing items need their old interactions back. That's it.

20/20 by itself is still nuts, especially with tear effects; it only becomes "bad" when combined with The Inner Eye or Mutant Spider now.

by this logic ipecac shouldn't do self damage because when combined with loki's horns it makes your run worse

third eye decreases your dps when combined with other tear-increasing items
mutant spider decreases your dps when combined with other tear-increasing items

it's still a 1.5x damage multiplier in almost every situation

I dunno why these guys waste their times coming to every single mod unnerfing items or posts complaining about useless nerfs, like they wanna dictate how you should play. This is a offline game bro, CHILL.

shots = 1
total damage = 10 x 1 = 10

with 20/20:
now damage = 7.5
shots = 2
total damage = 7.5 x 2 = 15 damage

but
damage = 10
shots = 4
total damage = 10 x 4 = 40

with 20/20:
now damage = 7.5
shots = 5
total damage = 7.5 x 5 =37.5

so if you have quad shot or more, 20/20 DECREASES YOUR DAMAGE.

20/20 LITERALLY MAKES YOU DEAL LESS DAMAGE IN SOME INSTANCES, WOW TOTALLY OP AMIRITE AND THAT ISNT EVEN ACCOUNTING FOR THE MASSIVE FIRE RATE DELAY YOU GET FROM QUAD SHOT!!!!! 20/20 literally is NEGATIVE item sometimes. IT's LITERALLY BAD at times. Imagine making a top tier item into an item that can MAKE YOUR RUN WORSE HOLY CRAP

because it's 75% damage for each tear which is only 1.5x damage multiplier for 2 shots but any more shots the multiplier just gets lower and possibly becomes detrimental when you already have quad shot and/or keeper and/or other multi tear shots

because an item that effectively gives you a 1.5x damage multiplier isn't op enough

imagine nerfing an item making it worse than the flash version, when there was supposed to be a big focus on making things more like the flash version

Imagine crying about the nerf of already OP item with no downsides

Weird it's working for me. my 20/20 isnt dropping my damage anymore, will try to see what's wrong.

Unfortunately, the mod doesn't seem to work at all. Pops up the error with External item descriptions in the debug console, and the damage still changes to 0.75x whenever I pick up 20/20.
