I wonder what the "uncommonly" means in the patch notes though. I like the 25% chance. If the patch adds some stupidly low chance for restock machines to appear, especially because dono machines are now useless and seeing them will be simply frustrating until someone makes a mod to revert the change, then I would much rather have a solid 25% chance to see a restock machine rather than 2.5% or whatever the chance might be in the base game. Gonna keep this mod subscribed just in case, I hope it overrides the base game restock machine chance.

This mod is now redundant as of the Nov 10th, 2021 patch as this effect is now baseline in the game! Hurray!

Bug report: I do have a problem with this mod. Whenever i restart the game while there's no restock machine in the shop, it actually forces one. I do that way too often now that i know that :(

FINALLY! i was pretty disappointed when they basically removed these in repentance.

starting over from ps4 back to OG PC as i hadn't played Isaac on PC since like 2012, wanting to experience true Isaac as well as the latest DLC. I honestly thought that the restock machine was added by completing a challenge or eventually unlocking it, its confirmed that the DLC repentance has disabled regular restock machines? (I know the item shop restock will still restock a shelf after purchase, but the removal of the reroll machine from item rooms, as well as shops is weird, i found one in a secret room or by chance with a card I used in one, but there wasn't anything in the room to reroll so I felt cheated.)

I came from TONS of hours on switch and then started repentance from scratch and not having the restock box SUCKED, thanks king

Bug report: If you blow up a restock machine in the Mirror World shop, the Shop items appear there.

This mod is great, just wanted to give my voice in the comments. The mod works fine. Thanks for restoring an entire mechanic that was essentially removed from the game.

It indeed has weird interactions with Glowing Hourglass, but that also works the other way around in your favor. You can use the hourglass to "retry" for a restock machine.

It breaks if you use glowing hourglass, it only spawns the box once

Jup forcing uninstall and reinstall fixed it. Weird that that can happen with mods

It's been the opposite of Mayonaise for me, I've been getting almost nothing but restock machines in shops.

When you go into a shop, a number should appear in the debug console. If the number is bigger than 25, then you got unlucky.
If the number doesn't appear at all, then yeah it's probably broken.

I havent seen a restock machine in quite some time. I think this broke

for hard mode maybe make it 12.5%?

Maybe it would have less compatibility issues if you made it work with custom stage api? love this mod but wish there were more that i could use it with.

@zical anything that changes secret rooms seems to break it. for me it was custom stage api

It feels way higher than 25% to me. Can you make a version where it's like a 10% chance, or make it configurable using the Mod Config Menu?

hey could you make a 100% version of the mod. The donation machines are unbalanced as fuck.

I feel this added chance actually balances the game a lot better in a strange way, having a guranteed donation machine basically means no matter what you will be able to buy the item in the shop if you have bombs, where as with this, sometimes you can sometimes you cant

Ed did an AMA on reddit and he said that it wasn't intended but he likes that it does that.
I'm sure the real reason is that when they put bomb damage up, they just made every bomb two bombs, on eon top of the other.

I kinda got used to lack of restock in shops. Means I can just always bomb the donation machine for items I want.
Eh, I'll just wait for Edmund to fix it.

@FrostWinter Not a bug. It's working as intended

1. IMO would be better to set it back to AB+ % .
2. Restock machiens can spawn in members club shop which should be impossible

It would be a good idea if the mod also fixes the bug where they reroll 2 times when bombed
