The fixed cable is unnecessary because we can just disable the setting that makes their weapon detach when they can no longer hold it

All wires connected to the copper guys get detached, they cannot be Z deleted, and they let go of what they were holding.

and if you put via use it will spawn at the set position, you cant change where the weapon will spawn, it will look like he is holding the wrong way when you spawn it.

This is intentional. I use the fixed cable so their weapon won't fall off, and because they are all made weightless, they would unrealistically float away.

Don't use "fixed cable". To make units pick weapons, simply press "use" on their hand with a weapon near. As for the grenades, use the "steel binding" and keep weight and collisions enabled.

Their armor is made out of a alloy called copperite, which isn't as conductive as normal copper.

Maybe it was taken down because of Lord Mumu and his mod, as the Future Mod used some of his code, so maybe he didn't really like that.
