I wouldn't mind different types of clothes of resistance clothing at all, besides, it'd create more varieties and all. So I see it as a positive.

The HEV suit does. It can go up to 6000 (same as the combat suit) however it does not have a helmet. (not yet anyway) so you'll need a diving mask or a mod that adds a diving helmet.
