Some new issues may exist for this patch? It seems that having these units unlocked for other clans causes the recruitment of ruin caster heros to result in a hard game lockup, as the eshin sorc takes their place on the unit recruitment roster. This is even worse if you try and use the custom lord recruitment mod as well.

Seems the issues are ironed out for now, interestingly enough, mutations started to work after this, I doubt they are connected in any ways, just happened to noticed the skaven mutations working now XD Love the units! thanks for all your hard work!

Newest update should hopefully resolve the issues. Tested with both custom battles and in mortal empires.

I think i've identified why some units aren't recruitable. There are two different assassin buildings, one for eshin, and one for all other clans. Some units require the eshin variant as an additional building. Currently looking into a workaround

Sweetness! Some of the units still unlock, iv yet to get to test them. Despite wanting the ability to recruit your awesome units as clan Skyre, I don't actually want any lord but Snitch to command them for RP reasons XD, or at least Assasin lords. Ill keep an eye out and if I find a work around on my end ill post something. I don't know the first thing about modding this game though so no holding ones breath XD~♥

I can confirm tendails problem. i have tryed with just the unit vfx and patch mod and the problem is still there :)

Can confirm that no matter what is built, The Gutter Runner Bombers, Black Fur Ogres, and indeed the Blackclaws, Stay grey and can not be recruited, as if they don't see the buildings are built.

To be clear, I have built the buildings they say they need in Skavenblight, they still show up as grey. I do have a number of mods that introduce units to the Skaven roster, so perhaps their is some form of conflict? As I understood it unit recruitment should not have that sorta issue.

For reference my unit mods are:
Stormfiends (The full Maulder Units one)
Claw packs for Clan Mors (Note I have all their units mod BUT the Flyers one)
And all current Skaven DLC

Running mortal empires and playing as Skyre, Have Skavenblight all built up and despite having the buildings made. The Black fur Ogre and Gutter Runner Bomber will not ungrey and allow me to build them. Says they need a building. I have not constructed the building in other regions yet. I will see if this is a Skavenblight issue, but for now it seems like at least these two units don't want to recruit.

It'd take some time but its been on my to-do list for a while. I can't say when I'll be able to implement it but it is planned for a future update

Weird I just tested it there and its crashing in custom battles. No idea why but I'll have to look into it this weekend.

is this not compatible with anything? sfo maybe? im getting a crash to desktop while loading a custom battle to try the units

Yeah you need both, this mod just replaces the files that restrict the recruitment of units so I wouldn't need to maintain two versions of the mod.

Ill make sure its up to date and check again, using the community launcher as the core one is booty, it normally handles that but ill make double sure.

Just tested there and I can recruit the shadow runners. Make sure you're using the latest version of the units pack and it contains the fix for recruiting shadow runners (now called Assassin Adepts). I fixed the the script for Sword Saint ROR and it is now recruit-able for all major clans.

Not 100% on this, but I think a few units might be missing from the roster with the patch? Not seeing the Shadow runners, or the Sword Saint when playing as Skyre, which is strange because they do appear in the custom battle roster. Maybe I need to start a fresh game?

Thanks again man! Awesome work, I actually agree with you on them being limited, but I imagine linking them to the starting buildings at the Eshin start in vortex or mortal would be more of a pain than just letting them be open to all clans. Much love man!~♥
