Well, that's how it was in CS:S so that's how I did it here

Okay nevermind, I meant people who have been waiting for years for this mod to be updated, I just looked at the release date on this... rofl.

A very well delayed v1_1 update has been released, I apologize to those who have been waiting months (literally) for something as simple as ADS, I have added a few other tiny fixes as well.

I also removed the rather unnecessary extra tags that weren't needed, sheesh, if I could slap younger me I definitely would.

Either way ADS has been added amongst other things which you can check up there in the changelog

These animations suck :p

Whenever I make animation mods like these I always try to do them in the same amount of frames and speed as the default ones so you don't have any inconsistencies when playing online with a host that doesn't have the skin on, and I really didn't want to have "dead frames" just to compensate for that

If there's something stupid but at the same time funny it's that, it takes longer to remove the magazine than putting another one !

I'm not blaming your gun model not at all but it's what i noticed with most assault rifles reload animation

Well model and sounds are directly taken from Counter-Strike: Source, I don't like making a mod based on a thing and it doesn't have sounds from the game it came from, feels off to me not having the sounds from the game I took the model from.

I could add ADS to the model though.

sadly i dislike this one wich im sorry for. theres no actual aiming "iron sights" the sounds are incredibly generic ak47 sounds that we have all heard 10 years prior basically. if these two were changed up id like it. still its a nice enough model so props there :)

like i restarted it so many times but still is an error
i even tried to fix what the console is saying but then after that it still is saying it failed to update? anyone experiencing this?

If I find a method to fix this I will definitely do so, don't expect it to be anytime soon right now, I don't have the editor nor the game installed as I will upgrade to a new computer.

DLC shouldn't affect any gameplay experience, its a separate campaign that you can play anytime you wish, it doesn't interfere with the vanilla campaign.

Again, I'm sorry for all these inconvenients :S but the best I can suggest is that you buy the DLC as of now

so for now i gotta stick to the other weps this wouldve been great if i had dlc i also play w/ my cousins and css guns are awesome as for splitscreen as far as i can say. plz fix this i rlly like css

well i got this game recently (wouldve got it when it was new but no time so got it during exploration sale) and i think i want to complete everything before i get dlc

because guess what, all of your weps dont work because i need dlc lol try to fix this

I wish I ccould answer that question easily, but I'd need to convert the animations so they don't need DLC or completely remake them, andd probably do the same for everything, so I'd say probably not :/ sorry for the inconvenience

There's a bug going on with the workshop, content made by DLC users require the DLC, sorry for the inconvenience :/

I want you to launch the Deserted survival map and pick up the Assault Rifle item that is in front of the spawn, if you are unable to load the level press F1 to enable console and copy the message in red.

As well as I want you to be sure that you don't have any other Assault Rifle replacement mods installed, because that will conflict with this one

It doesn't work, I have launched the modded SS 3 and still nothing

You pick up an Assault Rifle, this replaces the default assault rifle

I know how to download and subscribe to mods, all I want is to equip one.

This mod doesn't have such a file, the fire sound is called "ak47-1.wav", maybe you have a conflicting mod installed too?

Can't run it because "AK47Fire.wav" is missing.

@λ Szaman λ: Thanks buddy :), and yeah I'm porting CSS weapons, however there's a Duke Nukem Forever weapon pack in the workshop where you can use the shotgun, made by user noam 2000 ;)

@evgeniuskz: I know the real name is AK-47 and not CV-47, however as this is a port from Counter-Strike: Source, I put in the name CSS put to their AK-47, which was CV-47.
