can't turn off the peace mode in the editor
the only way seems to keep "old officers and trumpeters" in reserve. OR to NEVER go to the last age.
I will try your trick to play only Golden age.
Thank you very much to have spend some time on that topic.
I am playing Mods in which you are(were) involved.
When olaying in this mod (this mod alone without anay other mod). I cannot form any squadron of French heavy cavalry late XVIII (Louis XVI). Soldiers and musicians are available, but officers are not (but you can improve the officers... you are just unable to create them). In the end you cannot create french heavy cavalry squadrons for this age (you can just create a mob of riders).
Do you know the trick (I tried to use a dragon officer or an officer from previous age, but nothing... did I do something wrong?))
I searched for: marketdip. Not sure if there are any other flags or logic for the market and dip centre.
Files:
showcustomgame.inc (I assume this is the menu to customise the game settings.)
player.script
dmscript.global
File paths:
<root>/data/gui/menu.inc/showcustomgame.inc
<root>\data\scripts\lib\player.script
<root>\data\scripts\lib\dmscript.global
There are some other properties in 'classes.script' that may or may not be relevant:
bmarket : Boolean;
marketdip : Integer;
bmarketadvises : Boolean;
And if you start on a large map, you will get an error.
If you start on a small map, you will not get an error.
Please tell me the difference between these two modes..
Or are both of these modes compatible?
mod?
