So is this mod ever going to be fully fixed for the new changes? Especially with 4.1 coming out? Many of the origins don't work properly with the 4.0 update or their affects do almost nothing with the new pop changes.

Enslaved Civilization is broken. Founding species starts with ZERO pops. All pops are of the enslaved species.

I'm so happy to still see people creating new mods for this game after so many years.
Question: I selected the "Awakened" origin and... it seems I have 100 pops on each of my starting planets? Is that supposed to happen?

Broke my save. Im running 3.14 because i use older mods. Whatever you did to update it caused a popup event window with no info. It will pop up a dozen or so per game day making the game unplayable. Had to disable and start over because without the mod my save crashes the game. It would be great if modders would make it standard to upload the legacy version so we didn't have to start over so much when something changed.

Thank you very much, Askil! This mod actually adds a lot more that is needed to the game in regards to origins, they are much better than what Paradox came up with gameplay and roleplay-wise

The mod has been updated to 4.0 to address the most pressing issues, though some minor problems may still remain. Anyone is welcome to make their own updates.

I have kept this mod updated for 4 years now. I haven’t played the game in a while, coupled with life. I find myself with less time and motivation to keep the mod fully up to date. That said, I love this community and I’ll try to maintain it as best I can

origin with 2 starting colonies is throwing a billion empty popups as well, enough to even crash my game!

The empty popup are connected to the origin Failed Cryo, they are from two events (NDO.451 and NDO.452). Those events affect population and they need to be updated. I was looking to make the mod work for myself, but paradox doesn't release documentation for modding, so currently I have no idea how to fix it.

I hope thesis + work are going well & you can soon get deserved free time.

You're probably aware, we're now in 4.0. Some radical changes to pop system, maybe others. Many Origin mods are causing notable problems.

In case it helps:
I started random game. All current DLC's, current 4.0 version, ONLY this mod:
- Economy's wrecked. Energy & food are in the red. All I can think is the new pop system (?).
- I start the clock: Every single day the game pauses & I get 2 empty undefined little event/warning/dunno boxes perfectly centered, no clues what causes it.

Yours not the only origin mod affected. Number of boxes depends on the mod tho.
** If I enable the 8 origin mods I use currently:
- Economy wrecks, like when I enable a single one.
- I get empty undefined boxes too. More than 20 total, I get distracted counting before the last one pops.
- Then I can restart the clock, rinse & repeat.

I hope it helps somehow.

Two things:

1. Disturbed Developpment should be limited to not being gestalt, not just not machines. This is due to the ethics attraction modifiers.
2. I don't know if Developpment is intentionally spelled wrong, because it is spelled both correctly and incorrectly in the same paragraphs. It should only have 1 p.

Know this mod hasn't been updated in a bit, but theres an incompatibility between this and ECC bug branch, since the Megacorp Unification origin doesnt count the 2 new megacorp types for the origin

Update: After the most recent small patch to 3.14, no longer getting the CTD. So maybe what they did fixed the issue I was having.

At any rate, all the premade empires using this mod seem to be working. If any issues arise I will post about it.

This may be causing a CTD when starting a new game. I really, REALLY hope not, but it's just about the only un-updated mod I have that I haven't ruled out yet.

Can confirm, quite a few of these origins still work. I tend to not pick anything that seems to be interacting with new mechanics introduced and had all the luck thus far. I refuse to give this mod up :D Thank you Askil for the wonderful mod.

early colonization sometimes spawns a barren planet that you have pop on but cant interact with via its ui. I have things like giga structure and real space series really the only things I could think conflict..

Hello, first I want to say that it's a fantastic mod. Second if I can ask, would it be possible to start as the rebel instead of the overlord in the rogue colony origin? It would be a quite challenging and fun thing to play.

I have selected cycle of war as origin for my game, and i don't get the destroyers tecnology any idea of what's wrong?
I've tested it with only this mode activated and it doesn't work so it's not a compatibility problem.
I've unnistalled the mod various times even manualy deletting all the files and reinstalled everything.
Nothing Worked, so it's probably a bug of the mod. Please let me know if someone have found a solution.

The Unpopular Resort origin is a blood awesome concept, but the homeworld is glitched. It doesn't have ANY natural deposits or features. So unlike a normal gaia world (or world of any description) it doesn't get special resource deposits and is severely limited in the number and nature of districts that can be constructed.

This is not a complaint or a call to action. Just thought you would like to know. I love your mod, have a great day.
