Petra is a scrapped character design that got replaced by Valentina.
+ I'm not that interested in coming back to Terraria any time soon, and the extra development time for a less accessible workshop item is not the way I want to go imo.

Ok,for anyone trying to get it to work, u gotta take one of the pngs on the townNPC folder and name it NPC_22, for tloader 1.4.3.6.
Folder is located in steam>steamapps>workshop>content and then godspeed finding out which of those folders is the one for terraria and this mod,sounds complex but takes like 5 minutes, definetely worth cuz the little imp is cute.

Apologies if there hasn't been an update since you last mentioned it. Just updating in the comments that this still does not properly show the model or change the name when used in Tmod. It works perfectly fine in regular Terraria though.

It's because back when the workshop got released for Terraria, you could basically upload content directory to the workshop that was in your resource pack folder. To counter it - I put the description as that to prove to steam moderators it was an obvious re-upload.

I'm hella confused, I'm subscribed to this pack, but its not working, and when I click on the info on the in-game resource pack menu, it shows me the description for a ripoff that says smth like "If you're reading this, i stole this mod (...)" but I triple checked and I'm definitely only subbed to this og version

it's a tmodloader issue. It'll get fixed in the next update. For the time being I'll be re-adding the older NPC_[id] to my packs.

seems you need to also update the texture pack to add a shimmer varient to petra because of the new liquid

For the tmodloader issue, using NPC_22 seemed to fix her not showing up

I am having the same problem mentioned in the previous comment, no matter what i do the model doesn't changes

Seems with the latest update which was released today, it might've broken it, name Petra is there when I hover mouse over NPC, the model is the old Guide, if the NPC dies its the model of Petra that lays on the ground but once they respawn it's the old Guide model again.

it depends per NPC, there's no fixed ruleset of animation cycles.

You seem to know your way around Terraria's animation cycle. If it's not to much to ask, could you tell me what each sprite on the npc textures is what for the animation cycle? I'm trying to make my own re-texture, but I can't figure out what is what.

sprite is too high res? at least in the screenshots, looks like the resolution of her sprite clashes with the resolution of the rest of the game's pixel art
