For some like Timgad, do you think you can change the trigger so that the Byzantines can use it prior to forming Rome? Maybe Roman or Greek Culture? Think that should be fine considering the city was originally a Phoenician colony

you could also add the (ruined) Lighthouse of alexandria, maybe make it start as "Insignificant" after all, at start date it's only been a bit over a century since it's collapse, similar to how the general layout of the carthage cothon was still there but was a ruin

Why is the monument in Tunis called Carthage? That's just the name of the city, why not use the Al-Zaytuna Mosque built circa 700 ce?

@Domion i might add it but not as a canal like the suez canal. After 770 AD only the uppercanal was fully intact and the full canal was reopend after the 1860s. Maybe i might give it a trademodifier but not a shipping route like the suez canal.

How about adding the Canal of the Pharaohs [en.wikipedia.org], the ancient version of the Suez canal, which linked the Nile with the Red Sea and existed until 767 AD, that way we all could have a suez canal from the beginning
