the key is mainly to direct Ash towards the flat side of the block below the spike. Basically just imagine that there's a hook there, right at the point where the grid unit the spike is on transitions to the block underneath it.

oh, you can jump and hang on ledges that are above small spikes, yes. Large spikes don't work but the small ones are safe.

like if i try to jump up there i just end up dying on the start of the ledge

i don't get how i jump up to the other side though, there's two spiked platforms above the last ledge unless you can hang on the ones with the small spikes

you can hang Ash on the sides of platforms/ledges even if they don't have hooks. If there's a ledge with a spike on top of it but the block directly below the spike is exposed, you can ledge grab on that block by landing on its side.

So in West End 5, the large pit on the right side of the screen has a bunch of ledges overlooking the pitfall. If you jump from the right and cling to the sides of those, you should be able to jump across to the other side.

there's quite a lot of hookless jumps in this mod and others. It's not an overly common feature in the base game if you don't come across it accidentally, so it can be a bit confusing. Sorry you're having trouble! This mod is definitely one a bit more designed for people who have already cleared the base game, or at least reached the second half

If it's not showing up, you might not be launching the mod correctly. TEIN mods are super finicky from Workshop so you need to click play on the Library page and select "Play with mods". The mod should show up there, and then the hole should definitely appear
