I didn't MAKE any of these sounds. I found high quality recordings and was able to obtain licenses for them. All I did was editing and tweaking them.
The impact sounds are the ones that come with the Arma engine. I couldn't find any high-quality recording to replace them yet.
A separate version for ACE compatibility should no longer be necessary, found a simpler and integrated solution instead. :)
Let me know if you still have any issues!
Otherwise the gun's settings wouldn't match my sounds for it. I only have decent sound files for a 1 and 2 second burst (that's the only two firemodes the real A-10 has anyway, as far as I know) and the vanilla minigun normally has a full auto mode. Without me messing with the settings you'd HEAR a short burst but you could continue firing the gun indefinitely.
Did you find out what mod messes with mine? If you do I should be able to create a compatibilty version of my mod for you.
The sounds are fantastic, losing the GAU-8 sound would be very sad
However, I have no experience with modding, so I don't know how that would work without the weapon script.
Is there a way to disable the changes to the GAU-8 and only enable the sounds?
