No, this is an actual Amshack based on real blueprints and reference images from the Standard Stations Program, which is where the term "Amshack" was born. Since then, the term has been co-opted to describe even crummier stations, but this is the original.

This isn't really an Amshack, it's still a pretty decent station by US standards. Amshacks usually refer to stations that are completely minimal in design, consisting of a small, makeshift platform and a small shed.

@Warner - unfortunately no, this station is already the game's maximum platform length without hacky solutions with multiple stopping points.

is it possible you can make a version with a long enough platform to support an 8 car moded Amtrak Train?

well yes but this way it's not usable as a train station (I think?). And it's not possible to replace or anything with tracks either, because you need the NAR pack to be able to replace with anything. But no one uses it anymore, outdated, everyone changed their tracks to Railway 2 by REV0.

This asset requires the North American Rail (NAR) pack for the appropriate low-level station platforms. You can use the decorative station building without NAR installed, just ignore the error for the main building (or disable it in the Content Manager).

That NAR file is colossal, can you make a vanilla track station version, for those of us who don't want to use the NAR file. Thanks!

Like others I get an error message that two assets are missing when using the loading screen mod.

"There are two reasons for an asset to appear in this section: (1) The asset is placed in the city but is missing (2) The asset is used by some other asset but is missing."

We don't have access to those 2 assets. I believe they're set as private. You probably already have access to those.

I have exactly the same issues:
1- "Asset bug: Workshop asset uses private asset (Amshack Trash Can.Amshack Trash Can_Data)"
2- "Asset bug: Workshop asset uses private asset (Amshack Platform Sign.Amshack Platform Sign_Data)"

When I click on the link given, it says "..It is not found because it is not a workshop asset. The person who published the building probably published the prop as well but by mistake used the original, private, prop in the building instead of the published one.

You may find the published prop on the workshop. Unfortunately, it cannot replace the private prop. For the game, these are two different props."

Hopefully this will help you solve the problem.

What a strange bug - I've double checked it again,and I believe it's just due to asset load order. Everything should work properly.

@GrumpyZade - RWY2's low entry (and 0 height entry) are not aligned with this asset's low level height, so you would get clipping or floating cims on the platforms.

I'm aware, but like I said. RWY more up to date, NAR isn't. RWY2 low entry works just fine just fine if you haven't tried

@GrumpyZade - this asset was designed with NAR's low-level station tracks in mind. You can use the decorative-only version with RWY, but you'll need to make custom platforms.

I vote rwy2 instead then, just because it's more up to date

I like the assest, just not the dependency. It should be left vanilla imo

Great asset, I remember the city where I lived had one of these and a neighboring town had an elevated one until a few years ago.

Absolutely love this station, basically the only one I use now. Only thing that would make it better is a longer platform to fit the Citylink trains 😁

@TheFirestormable - that's an issue with Loading Screen Mod not realizing that this asset has the props packaged as well. In game it should not be an issue.

@Munchkin - that warning in LSM is just due to the load order of assets. It should be fine once everything has loaded in game.

I don't have all the DLC's if that may be the case (incorrectly reporting DLC asset as private asset maybe?)

I did big cleanup recently and downloaded this almost with no assets (just 1120 of some essential mods), but this still shows a problem https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2526783986

I tested the asset today and couldn't replicate the missing asset errors, even with this as the only Workshop asset I had downloaded. I'll keep looking for it though!
