My game crashed while in the middle of playing the mods after a dozen or so turns. I'm only using three other mods. "4 Turns per Year", "No Bad Traits" and "Better Merchant and Trade Income". The launcher says they're compatible but I'm not sure.

Bro,I found Armenia had some problem on showing the building tree of the temple.The highest level is level 4, but the temple_of_fun showed level 5,I think we should fix this problem.thanks.

no but you can just copy what i did with govorners building and thats that basicaly make a local mod for yourself its easy like 2min of work

@Jungfaha Np. xp matteres more than blacksmith upgrades, 9chevrons of xp beat a fully upgraded golden armor/weapons with 0chevrons any time of day

@Jungfaha for the bribes i dont know its just a game feature since it was not intended to get characters apart from your family members, now for the second one its a bit or RNG just park them in a city with the academy built for a couple of turns they should get some good traits and ancilary's hopefuly haha

ok had fun with it. But then in actual campaign all of a sudden i got 2 MOTHs and do not need to recruit currently. hahaha.

So far it works and the generals are not part of the family! They act as governors and obv. battle commanders. So this is great thank you :)

Side question. Why does the bade game bring people into the family via adoption when i bribe a general/faction family?

so u check damyoks units file to see if he did any changes to the generals if the general units are vanilla you can just copy my changes in his building file --------- if not you gonna have to do what i did and fing the new general unit and add it to recrutment in the building file like i did and do that for both mairan and not marian reforms just check the file

What would be the line I need to edit to another unit mod to make it compatible? I am using damyoks unit mod - otherwiese vanilla with a map mod

@Alfarius OK so how mods work on Rome total war and remastered are as follows, mods are compatible ONLY if they do not edit the same txt files. if you want to make this mod work with a mod that edits export_descr_buildings you will either have to copy my edits under ALL levels of governor palace to the new mod or vice versa or just copy the vanilla file and make your own mod and just copy and edit changes from both mods

for instance this is a line i edited in this mod

governors_palace requires factions { barbarian, carthaginian, eastern, parthia, egyptian, greek, roman, }

recruit "barb chieftain cavalry early dacian" 1 requires factions { dacia, } and not marian_reforms
recruit "barb chieftain cavalry dacian" 1 requires factions { dacia, } and marian_reforms

you copy all the recruit lines and add them under whatever building type and level you want you can even make the generals be recruited from a lvl 1 shrine etc..

Do you do reskin? I think Bull Warriors could be as cool as other Elite barbarian units with some inspirations

stat_pri 18, 3, pilum -----> urban cohort
stat_pri 17, 4, pilum, -----> bull warrior

they are second only to urban cohort in pillum throw xD tho they need mercanary support

see their morale stat
stat_mental 12, impetuous, untrained

while urban cohort has
stat_mental 12, disciplined, highly_trained the discipline one has impact why they brake without support the training part is how they stand in line (inside the formation) if that makes sense?

never let an unarmored franzy babrbarian get hit by heavy cav thats my tip for you haha get some hoplite mercanary's to support them or use those Balearic Slingers tho shred some cav they actualy good just hard to use

Yeah, 2 turns to recruit and on very hard difficulty they flee after a frontal cav charge.
Im very disapointed.
Someone should improve the Spanish roster Pronto (as Spain is my favourite faction and i feel disgusted how much the developers made it, or screw it)

ok so when you play the romans/greek's do you see like 6 shrines in the building menu? if you do the mod is working the default is 3 per faction i think, for generals to be recruited you have to build the governors palace 12k population if memory serves me right

oh just noticed, probably not but it is similar when a general unit is created it spawns a named character that can be adopted given the normal conditions

Hello there. I have encountered a weird problem. All my buildings now suddenly only require one turn to get built.

Steps to reproduce:
I have uninstalled all but your mod and started a new save. When the game begins, I press 'End Turn' once and now all buildings only require one turn to complete

I thought you'd wanna know.
