I love the idea of this mod, but no looters or refugees are spawning, I've played for 10 days, got a radio and world map, but nothing is showing up on the map, I have the base mod for this installed I also have Bepinex installed, any help would be great, thanks.

Download BepInEx from the link in the description. Get the 64 bit one, then extract it into your survivalist invisible strain folder. There is a picture that shows how the folder should look after you do that. Then subscribe to this and the quarantine zone: base story. Then you can play it.

Try unsubbing, deleting the mod folders and resubbing. See if that works.

not sure if this has been addressed but i had the issue where it double all my conversation options and doubled all of my personality traits

That means BepInEx isn't installed correctly or you don't have 64-bit operating system. Check to make sure you extracted the zip into the 'Survivalist Invisible Strain' folder. Btw, you don't need Harmony the mod, BepInEx has Harmony packaged with it and loads when the game starts.

@Machine I thought so. Except the no problem part. I am having everything but problem. It crashes and it says something about Harmony. I enable harmony as a mod and it says something about the story setup, or sometimes it says the character creator.

@ColdBlade No, I would say you just got unlucky

@Dell Conagher You should be okay, the BepInEx console doesn't open by default. If you can start a new game without problems then it is working.

I extracted BepInEx 64 into my Invisible Strain folder, but it won't pop up when I start the game.

No, it is controlled in the DLL. The change is gradual and is based on the time played. In my game there was roughly half white strain hordes spawning on average at day 170. But you will most likely die to the other end game event that starts at day 150. White strain can be easily avoided or dispatched behind the safety of walls.

Is stuff toogable ? The "raiders and zombies don't go toward YOUR camp" is great, but the upscaling of zombies over time doesn't appeal me .

Thank you. Yeah in the beginning it lags a bit because there is so many refugees, but it settles down after a bit. After the first winter most freeze to death, but there a steady flow of NPCs that are coming and going.

You don't have to enable it, it does it on it's own. If you want to make sure it working, after you start the game it should create a config folder. You can enable the logging console which will show up every time you start the game.

I did not enable anything but i was able to get to char design so i assume that is a good sign.

Actually I just tried the newest version of BepInEx and there is no boot window by default anymore. You probably have to enable it in the config now.

Yup, make sure to extract the contents of the zip there. BepInEx_x64_5.4.11.0.zip is the current 64-bit one. When you start the game you should see a boot window that initializes BepInEx.

Is that the correct way to go about it? That seems the be the way your instructions imply.
