Monument in Danzing at level 3 should be Local Production Efficiency instead of Production Efficiency.

Now is giving you 40% to global production.

@Neopolitan: Germany does have a custom T1 reform with Governments Expanded that has a parliament (that is if the DLC for parliaments is active). But otherwise, yes: A government that has a parliament already (that is if the DLC for parliaments is active) or one that allows taking that vanilla reform or a republic. After all the Reichstag is the parliament building, so it makes the most sense.

How are you meant to actually upgrade the reichstag as prussia/germany? it requires parlimant but you are unable to do so as its "mutually exclusive with prussian government type" Do you have to just be a regular kingdom or republic to gain access to the monument?

@Draciel: It shouldn't break anything if you enable it in a save started with the mod, but the monuments will not show up. So you either have to start a new save for that or edit the save game and add all the monuments manually to it.

the modifiers you get are the same

1st level: they are applied to only the province of Ladakh
2nd level: they are applied to all owned provinces in the Area of Ladakh
3rd level: they are applied to all owned provinces in the Region [Hindustan] of Ladakh

Monument Gangotri in Ladakh has a strange progression - 1 & 2 levels are the same benefits, 3rd makes it even worse

@Fruityland: Sounds like a conflict with another mod. Do you mean the macrobuilder? Could be a conflict with Trade Goods Expanded and any other mod editing the macrobuilder interface (e.g. UI mods), adding buildings or editing tech.

I just tried using GME from steam and everything works accordingly, both localisation and picture wise, for every monument you said plus I tested a few random ones to cover all the files

I bet there has been a problem with the download of the mod from steam itself and I'd suggest a clean reinstall of the mod, do you need a hand to do it? (:

Hi PoProstuMistyk,

seems like the mod was not fully installed by steam, I'd suggest two ways:
#1:
1. Open Launcher
2. go to Mod Library
3. Click on "Reload Installed Mods" [circular arrow on top right]
3.1 check the "Also clear out cached information and update from server"
4. see if problem persists

#2
0. close the game and the launcher
1. uninstall the mod from Steam
2. clean the folder installed in "steamapps\workshop\content\236850\2469419235"
3. clean the file "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod\ugc_2469419235.mod"
3. reinstall the mod from Steam

And see if it will fix (:

That makes sense, however I disagree on the culture part because I think that adding a culture to your country makes its cultural monuments also relevant to the country.

It was actually chose not to use the province_is_or_accepts_religion to exclude all the
Secondary Religion / Religion Cults / Harmonisation
and similar mechanics

Due to the increase amount of religious monuments and not give Tengri/etc a significant edge; this on top of plans with Tengri/etc-specific monuments ^^


Same-see obviously to not allow Buddhism to Dharmic/Accepts Dharmic


Cultural wise it depends,
Some monuments are enabled via accepting cultures, but some are instead based on being of that culture due to how it would make no sense for some monuments if you weren't of that particular culture

To be specific, you can (should ?) replace :
- emf_religion_is_buddhist with province_is_buddhist_or_accepts_buddhism
- province_is_buddhist_or_dharmic with province_is_buddhist_or_accepts_buddhism_or_is_dharmic
- has_owner_accepted_culture with province_is_or_accepts_culture
- has_owner_culture with province_is_or_accepts_culture

and for other religions :
- religion = xxx with province_is_or_accepts_religion { religion = xxx }
- religion_group = yyy with province_is_or_accepts_religion_group { religion_group = yyy }

And then you can delete all "has_owner_religion = yes"

Hey, could you update the mod with province_is_or_accepts_religion when checking the religion to be able to use the monument when you're Tengri and you chose the religion as a secondary ?
Most (all ?) vanilla monument use it to get "The Religion of xxx is yyy and is either the state or the Syncretic Religion of the owner" as a condition in game

This mod, since it does not edit any vanilla file, works with any mod that does not
- edit map [by adding/removing provinces, not shape]

you might find both [GME + XXXX] add the same monument though

Does this mod work alongside Europa Expanded? I know some of the EF mods do work flawlessly (Peace Deals) and others appear to not (Trade Goods), even with the small compatch someone made. I was wanting to use a related mod to make all monuments movable, but that one requires BOTH GME and EE to work...

Great Projects are all loaded when you create a save.

After that you'd have to manually edit the save to add each monument [even only the ones you care about it]

Most of them work only if you directly are Buddhist [any of the 3]

some of the monuments [like your mentioned] were the first made when pdx went ham with Alhambra having like 10% Admin Eff and what not, so with internal testing and players feedback we found that they would have never been upgraded if the values were lower and seeing as "not worth it"

We have seen how pdx itself has not found a balance with their monuments whereas in the past updates they have released mixed monuments...


In general, unless they are region-wide monuments, we have seen players don't consider most of the local ones as "worth it" if not for specific monuments [like The Bock, the Rock of Gibraltar etc.]

A solid 2/3rds of the monuments need massive nerfs. A quick example is the Great Palace of Constantinople. It has 8 different modifiers with INSANE values. Take a look at that and then compare it to literally any of the base game monuments. It's essentially 3 monuments fused into one and not low end monuments like Registan Square, Heddal Stave Chruch, and Bran Castle. More like Alhambra, Malta Forts, and The Grand Palace of Bangkok.

Most monuments in the base game have about 4 modifiers and don't give you the best possible modifiers. If it's going to have a godly modifier like admin efficiency or gov cap then that needs to be the only great mod and 2-3 okay mods.

Do we still have some left? I rememebr once we used a few for nearly-impossible cases where we could find nothing [due to it being ancient ruins or whatever]
