makes me absolutely pain that fable 2 isnt on pc.

Seems like I can't get it to work and master katana just becomes invisible.
I unsubscribed mod, verify game files, downloaded files, launched vanilla game.
Then subscribed the mod, launch modded game, get message about incorrect size, pressed Okay. Get into game, closed game, launched vanilla again, closed and then launched modded game. And katana is still invisible.

I doubt the tools would run on my machine as I'm running Linux. But if the game works in proton flawlessly I guess there is a chance of the tools working in wine.
Would you happen to have a link to that video?

the file size isnt supposed to match, a bad check isnt accepting it, alternatively launch the mod tools and import the included UPK steam gave you after searching for the brass katana, to get more familiar with the tools you can watch part 1 of my tutorial on yotube.

Right click fable, browse local files, delete the mod information for the Daichi (brass katana upk I think) and let steam redownload youll have to continue this until steam realizes the file size isnt supposed to match, this is a result of a faulty check that was left in before the mod tools could be finished because there entirely abandoned and lionhead is disbanded.

Did what you said. I'm getting this on launching the modded game. A window appears containing the text "File download off STEAM isn't correct size, do you still wish to download ?" and has an Ok or Cancel button prompt.
Forgot to mention it before but I got this same error the first time as well.
Now the weapon is not invisible anymore. But it's still the old katana. There was no change.

I'm assuming you meant "verify integrity of game files" right?
This is the only mod I'm using btw. At least for now.
