is it normal for you to spawn and then 12 turns in it says you won without meeting anyone and there were three other ais that spawned?

Mole, I dunno how to fix it, but the barb setting is on "aggressive." That's why they respawn so quickly and go after player improvements.

Can you add some links for Middle Earth races like Elves, Hobbits, Orc, Urukhai (or however you spell it.), Dwarves and that kind of stuff. thx.

Well, again I apologize... I'll accept that a problem with the game itself. Best thing to do might be to disable barbs all together then. Great map btw.

Mole, people have been having that issue on random maps since G&K. I seriously can't do anything about it. I'm sorry it keeps happening to you.

btw there IS something odd going on with the barbs on this map, I'm pretty sure... Playing on Prince difficulty, there were LOTS of barbs just massed together at the northern most part of the map... Mostly archers, raging barbs is off. Never seen anything like that in regular games, even with raging barbs turned on.

@theodamus Yeah, and make a morodor civ too. give them sauron as their UU and make it replace the Giant Death Robots give it a strength of 200 too :D the name can be sauron (with ring)

Mole, I'll fix the mountain ruins, but barbarians are placed randomly by the game itself. I don't think I can do anything about that.

I like this map, but there's a bug where sometimes ruins are placed on top of mountains, which makes them impossible to explore. Also there are way too many barbs, you clear 1 or 2 camps and more spring up. They just swarm your first city and pillage all your improvements constantly.

Fine with me. Hate to say how long it took me to figure that out. Some map mods work fine out-of-the-box, others need a little "help."

Go to C:\Users\->Your Name<-\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Middle Earth). Open the folder. There should be two (2) files. COPY Middle Earth.Civ5Map to C:\Users\->Your Name<-\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps. Collapse the directory tree; launch Steam; launch Civ 5 from the Steam Library. The Middle Earth Map should show up when you open the drop down menu for the world/maps.
