@CPlentyT) The no car thing I mentioned some time ago could be a conflict with Secret Pandemic according to map mod manager there is a conflict at cell 24x25.

There are 2 section with mod info's
One says that the 41 Mod ID is Grapeseed and the last section at the bottom says 41Grapeseed
Which one is correct? Both follow Mod ID:
I use B41 on MP for a server. Thanks for the help and the great map!

i wish we could have the old version back, this one slows my pc to a crawl and i liked the sex shop, the warehouse building and a few other locations

After reviewing and tidying up my spawnpoint list, I noticed an issue that appears to be known: the spawnpoint file for Grapeseed isn’t located where the game expects it.

By default the game looks for
"media/maps/Grapeseed/spawnpoints.lua"

but the actual file is in
"common/media/maps/Grapeseed/spawnpoints.lua"

To fix this, update your spawnregions.lua entry to:


{ name = "Grapeseed, KY", file = "common/media/maps/Grapeseed/spawnpoints.lua" },


This ensures Grapeseed’s spawnpoints work correctly.

@Abra We’ve seen a few people bring up the zombie heat map, pretty sure it’s just a bug since the mapping tools for b42 aren’t officially out yet. As for your other comments, thanks! And good news, Dylan’s actually part of the Project Zomboid dev team now, working on the game map. :cherrypie:

Town looks really nice, indoor decoration is top notch (take notes devs)!
But in my playthrough it was a ghost town ... no zombies in sight, even on higher difficulty :/ i hope the heatmap gets fixed for it

@AdamMcbane Cars not spawning is a very common bug when using map mods. Not sure of your specific cause as there can be many, usually a mod conflict :spiffo:

Drive by it, looks really nice, I noticed no cars in sight though. Is it a balance thing to have no cars? Seemed odd given the number of zombies around.

The amount of loot is absurd, it makes it less interesting to explore when you can find everything you could need in the first building you enter.

so i have zombie spawns at default. is it normal to have super low populations? I have barely seen any zeds. i can count them on 1 hand. Maybe something to do with the new spawn system

I didn't know where exactly to put this, I did not assume bug reports would be the right channel as this is a map conflict and not a bug, more so of a warning for everyone. Be warned for those who use SecretZ map packs these maps conflict with each other. Prioritize Grapeseed above SecretZ in your mod order before using these two mods.

Really good map but I've pretty low fps (like 3-5, even can't move) in here don't know why. I've tried couple of custom maps, they were all working great, vanilla maps also works fine but this map breaking something.

I saw in the patch notes of 42.11 they said they fixed not being able to walk on panels built over water. This should fix the fishing dock in this mod! I wonder, did you happen to maybe have something to do with that bug fix since being hired? :P Maybe not, but good news either way.

@QS Build a wooden floor over the tiles you can't walk onto (invisible wall). This is the quick fix a user named 6 found until the author updates the mod. You can read his comment below if you are curious why this is happening. I found it when spawning in. Great map aside from this one small glitch! Congrats do Dylan for getting hired! May mean he may not have time to fix this glitch I'm assuming.

This little fishing booth is impossible to get into. It's just invisible wall right in front of where I'm standing. Can't jump over it.

@NYTERYDR The B41 version downloads with the B42 version, they only show on their respective versions. So if you're on B41 the B41 version will show and vice versa. :spiffo:

i dont know if its just me but when in the library on the right side of the building, the wall tiles from the floor above block vision for part of the rooms, and theres a similar issue with the triangle roof parts on the front of the amy lou, i think thats what its called

@Banana Phone I tested it, the reason of the air wall can be solved by building a wooden floor, probably because the mod author accidentally made the water surface into a wooden when designing it, which is actually a water surface so it cannot be passed through, but players can pass through by building their own wooden floors.:lunar2019smilingpig:

@6 This is the same issue I have. Thank you for confirming this happens even with only this mod enabled. Have you tried a fresh install as well? Not sure if that would affect anything, but maybe it could be possible that mod files still exist in the install folder which conflict with this great mod? Otherwise.... maybe this is indeed a problem with the mod probably after a recent update to zomboid?

I really love this map mod, but I'm encountering an issue. There are two invisible walls blocking my path on the bridge in the middle of the small lake. Even with only this mod enabled, I still cannot pass through.:lunar2019smilingpig:

I was sure that isn't the problem because 1, I have a mod which changes the load order sorting rules and it usually auto sorts correctly, however I have had to adjust it for a few mods here and there. 2 there were only 2 other mods above it after sorting and 3, this was the first thing I checked.

However just to be safe, I did try it again and as you said, moved it to the top. No effect, invisible walls and frames remained. Just to be thorough, I checked the other way around and moved it to the bottom. No effect. Invisible walls and framed remained.

I am very thankful for your troubleshooting assistance and advice, seems to be a different problem unfortunately.

- Eso pasa porque no cargas bien el mapa, busca donde se cargan los mapas y ponelo arriba del todo
- That happens because the map isn’t loading properly. Look for where the maps are being loaded and move it to the top.

Hi, I don't see anyone else commenting about this so it must be my fault or a mod conflict, but I was hoping someone might know the solution.

Every time I try to spawn on this map, I am spawned in the middle of the lake on the boardwalk, which would be fine but it is walled in with wooden frames on both sides. I can step through both sides of the frames, however as I walk forward a few more feet I am met with an invisible wall on both sides that I cant vault over or step through. This effectively blocks all exits from the middle of the lake.

If it's a mod conflict, did anyone happen to run into this and find the culprit? Could it be a tile pack? I have that one mod that shows all maps layered onto the map to check for conflicting cells, and no map mod I have comes anywhere near this mod's cells.

I'm on build 42.9
