didnt know you could do that ill have to look into that but yea i got no prob with it , though the railgun is from the tiberian genesis mod so you might need there permission if the file actually includes anything of theirs

hey mate ive just turned this 'composition' into a mod for ease of access. it also changes the displayname so it can show up as whatever name we set it to, and we can change the texture to add appropriate railgun graphics. would you give me permission to release it to the public, credits to you for the original idea?

ohh mb, i should've been more clear. i don't actually have the original mod files either, otherwise ide put em on dropbox, add the link and call it a day. but couse im a dumbass, when i had to remove the mods from steam i thought "well i guess i can save some space and delete these now that i dont really need them and cant restore them, ill just link the armaholic page and problem solved". i can be really stupid sometimes.

only chance of it happening that i can see, lest long term, is if a group of people got together, collect what files they can find, and make their own website repository were copyright wouldn't be a issue. apparently this is happening, though i don't know anything about it, just rumors. that said, if anyone is able to pull it off it would take an INCREDIBLE amount of time and effort by this point. between all the armas there was literally tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of mods that were saved on armaholic before there was steam workshop. some can still be found on sites like modDB but not many....that all said, were getting lots good sci-fi mods lately, so if i see a adequate weapon system to replace the old railgun ill remake this mod & the abrams version

well funny story bout that, i did once upon a time. for all of my mods requiring mods from armaholic, i had ported those mods over to arma 3 along with them. got lots of complaints and and even D.M.C.A. warnings by the end. had to remove them all from steam because of legal bulls**t. here i thought games/ mods are like art or somthin and should be preserved/ restored if needed, steam thinks differently. then armaholic dies, and we all loose somethin like 70-80% of the arma mods that ever existed. so to answer your question. i could, i would like to, but they wont let me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Armaholic was shut down and the domain was sold to a gambling website, there is someone collecting PBOs in the hope of revising the site but it might take a while

yes it appears armaholic was hacked or somthing. i'll leave this up in the hopes it can be saved or restored but untill then this comp is broken
