Does anyone know what happened to the updated version of this mod? There was one at this URL that I was using up until yesterday, then it deleted itself without a trace?

This will need to be update, there were some GUI changes in 1.7 with the Rival and Friends icons. You will get this issue, the border won't show on some screens and have a weird visual issue.

True for the most part but because of resizing issues doesn't work well with RUI character window mod. Some artifacts.

Does not need update, works fine. I assume it will work for a very long time.

I am not sure you guys know this, but I didn't. At some point the Devs added in portrait borders to the game, I think last patch. I did not see change notes for it. Here is some screenshots of vanilla.

@{FIRM} Maximus Decimus Meridius It's a good idea, but my mod is just a graphical change, really; the dynasty tree doesn't include the rank graphics by default and to mod it in would need a degree of technical witchcraft beyond this simple Photoshop jockey, I'm afraid. Certainly it's something I'd be happy to include if anyone knew how to do it.

Have you thought about expanding the borders into the family tree window as well?

First great mod I am going to use it in all gameplays, second there was a mod that also added very elegant and similar portrait borders right? I remember downloading and playing with it one time but I can’t find it anymore, maybe it was just a dream
