↑great mod
Would you be okay with me re-uploading this mod inside a packaged mod for my community? I would give full credits to you in the description. This is simply to reduce the size and number of mods that people who join our group will need to download, and wouldn't be downloaded by anyone outside of my community.
I understand this is a bit of a grey area, and if you're not okay with it then that's perfectly fine!
Keep up the great work!
For me personally this behaviour is in some way immersive, soldiers under fire could have problems with performing some actions, but I get your argument and see why in some cases that would be irritating.
I'm fully open to the idea of adding blur or some other post-process effects as an option to this mod, but I won't find time to do that now or for at least next 2-3 weeks.
Mod is open-source on github, I will gladly accept any contribution there.
Will AI be applied in the future?
Because when he shoots at the AI, he reacts immediately and doesn't dodge, he's not blind
- A more gradient oncoming of the overlay, to prevent the sudden appearance of the overlay for eye relief.
- Option to use a blur rather than the black overlay (again eye relief)
Another feature that I'd like would be a localized darkening of the screen in the direction the bullet passed, whether above the player, to the right, left etc. That would be perfect if one just wanted to give more "presence" to passing bullets without truly going for a suppression effect, or maybe to have a combination of both.
Still, it's very nice just as it is now, so thanks a lot!
Quick question: Does the effect occur from artillery or grenades, or from larger weapons like autocannons and tank cannons? Cheers.
