Thanks for this epic mod, I served in the U.S. Army 3rd Armored as a an M1A1 Abrams commander during the Gulf war, the terrain is so realistic and looks like the terrain when I was there and brings back alot of memories thanks for this awesome map

You will also need to make your own lighting config if you use A2 sky object, light will distort and appear incorrectly if you use the A2 one with a Livonia lighting config/Altis/Tanoa/etc. Distant mountains/skies are achieved using horizon objects.

Via config. Need to use Arma 2 sky object to use Arma 2 sky textures, otherwise make your own.

Hello! I make terrains aswell and I had a question. How did you achieve the 'skybox' mountains / skies? Did you use the ones that were in Arma 2: OA's Zargabad map? It reminds me a lot of that. I'd appreciate if you could share some tips on that so I can make use of it for future terrains. Thank you!

Oh alright, yeah mostly Afgan and Iran sure, I would love more Iraqi maps. I've not learned how to use the map tools, I'd really love to, but I can't seem to find a proper guide.

I don't, that's why I made one. Most are afghanistan or iran, or something of that sort. I think Reshmaan Province is Iraq based? That's what I used it for. The map has a bunch of peace company bill boards in it, which is a Shia fighting group.

You're probably right, but I didn't want to spend too much time on it. I thought 4km was reasonably sized for some tanks and combined ops.

If it's meant for tanks, isn't it better to make it huge? 4km is rather short for tank on tank battles isn't it? Very cool still, just wish it was bigger :)

I do not understand why you said that the British were with the Americans when it is almost false, those who had fought the most are the French with the Americans at 73 Easting, the British were hardly there!

Amazing little piece of terrain, great lighting and atmosphere! Plus the micro terrain features are outstanding!

Great tank map! Lighting gives depth to the simple geometry. Put a few CUP buildings down and you've got yourself a great combined arms scenario. My compliments.

24 hour terrain, thats 4km per 24 hours.. 1km per 6 hours..
that would mean if i knew what i was doing i could make a 4km terrain in 24 hours.
