because space engineers turns all planets into spheres when you get to far away. You can change that in the savegame by setting SpherizeWithDistance to false, I can't do anything about it in the mod

yeah, I'm blanket updating all of my planets. For these, not so much changed. Only kimi is now radioactive as hell

I moved some files into a different folder, maybe that was the reason. I changed it back now. Do you have a crashlog?

The new update for Apex survival just got auto loaded on my dedicated server and it broke :( the server fails to start up with the mod now for some reason

It's wasn't much more than a heightmap anyways. I already gave the files to a couple people, in case anyone want's to turn it into an actual planet.

Found ores on Qun, with 500m detector, but it took awful lot of time.

Just thought I'd drop in to mention something, though I'm not sure this is still maintained. I started on Qun, vanilla with no mods, and got fairly far only to discover that either there aren't any ores on Qun or I can't detect them. Even with detectors that detect for kilometers in every direction or drilling down to the planet core, I have never found a single ore deposit other than from meteors. There are scattered reports throughout these comments of people also having trouble finding anything on Qun. I tried various things for hours to get a Qun with ore but all efforts failed. Unfortunately, I now have to abandon the save and system due to this, as I can't risk it happening on other planets.

I think you should add more mining outposts in the crater because it feels like a planet that is being mined.

So how can I tell where ore is on Qun? I can't seem to find any ore or ice.

Major Jon - I am also working on a server specific version where I am taking your height maps and one of your materials (basically changing qun to Kimi's texture) and changing the ores to a custom one (slag). Can I have your permission to upload that when complete? (With credit to the original of course)

That's how it's supposed to be, it's a captured iron-nickel asteroid. It's supposed to be very challenging and not something you'd start on.

So, idk if this is just me, but Kimi is ALL iron ore, not stone, and then pockets of other listed ores.

Spawned in both at recommended sizes but Qun has weird fat cone spikes on it's surface. I've seen this before when planets are spawned at too small a size.

What are those Ambient Sounds?

Qun: solar panels barely work due to the strong radiation.
How bad 20% or less than normal?
