I updated the look of the friar and added a bit to the skill tree.
Now I just have to wait for someone to make a CTT compatible version ;)
@maffers Sweet thanks man, and such a quick update too! Looks like I'll be starting up a fresh crusade tomorrow, lol
Minor suggestion: add two mid-tier mutually exclusive skills (fighting styles) giving either anti-infantry bonus or anti-large and charge bonus vs large.
Bonus points for liquid fortification!
Some thoughts/suggestions:
1. Without any abilities, Friar costs 900 in custom battles. For comparison, Paladin costs 400 and Warrior Priest costs 350. Since he mostly supports infantry, I'm fine with paying premium, but it still seems like the basic hero is very overpriced.
2. Friar is anti-infantry despite using something which looks like a spear. It's not the end of the world, but not very common in WH. Just saying :).
3. If you are looking for unit ideas, here are some:
- Battle Pilgrim variant which would work a bit like Plague Monks;
- elite tier V AP Battle Pilgrim variant working a bit like Censer Bearers, but with unit caps;
- Robin Hood style archers with vanguard, stalk, woodsman, poison and fire on the move (no 360 firing arc and no AP, though).

Are you planning to also make unit regiments from this?
I think It would be nice to see something similar to Empire's Flagellants but more Bretonnish for the Bretonnia roster.
