thats the point of EVA gear
to NOT be able to do that
when i made the original mod i wanted to add in medium and heavy EVA gear too which would have acted as armor but never got around to do so.
To be completely honest though, I've never actually used any of the light EVA gear from this, so I'm really happy to see that this is actually a crucial mod for me now.

the anti grain charge rifle is an upgraded charge rifle that uses anti grain to POWER itself and does not actually fire anti grain shards.
it was the start of a series of anti grain powered tech i wanted to implement as an addon to SOS2, back when it wasnt under the original creators ownership again.
