well it's not really somthing i can write here, but you should start with custom mele, splinks made a guide for 3dsmax and blender, after that you can try to make custom survivors\infected, the technique is kinda similar, you just need to edit more stuff and check if everything works, don't forget to go to dead4mods discord too.

Yo, how do you do these mods??? I really want to replace the charger with the Hive Knight from destiny 2 (to match the thrall mod) but I never got down how source modding works

let's hope that one day we'll see "SCP-610" themed mods made by you... i mean we kinda already have it but i'm sure you could do a better and "in-themed" job...
