Most likely, I would assume that mat_specular affects all specular reflections including models.

nah, gmod's one is more like ep2 bump map thing, but in current version of hl2, is old shiny metrocop, that's i want, there was addon like that, but it got deleted for some reason, that's sad :(

Gmod's one is the same as the current hl2 one. Unless you mean the player model, then there's a mod for that called uncolorable playermodels.

can you port current of hl2 metrocop skin? because i don't like default gmod's one
i was trying to do by myself, in game files, but it's didn't work, i don't know why.
