This mod will only seed the built-in planets, not custom ones.

Does this mod still work?? I added it to include uranium and platinum to the Planet Saprimentas Reimagined, I've run 20km in several directions with Ore Detector + (1000m) and no uranium and platinum.

Ok, you said uncommon, but I just went around my base checking deposits, and of 15 deposits in 1.5km of my base, there are large uranium and platinum veins with 2 of them... either I'm extremely lucky, or this really isn't all that rare... have the updates affected this mod perchance?

The rarity and vein size are hard coded in the mod. The idea is to keep them quite challenging to find and mine but they are there on all planets and moons.

Can you edit the rarity of these resources and how large the veins are?

You don't have to start a new world for it to work but it won't work with custom planets. Custom planets are designed by their own authors and they are responsible for the ore distribution.
