Thank you very much for making this mod. Making games more accessible for people with lower-spec systems is something that does not get enough credit. I hope you'll be able to update it to however many other versions this game may have in the future.

i'm not very familiar with tmodloader and texture packs, is this pack needs to be higher than the calamity texture pack or below it?

This mode save me. Frequentily playing Calamity and other mods, worm-type boss and other stuffs become invisible, and with this mode, no more! FPS better also, less crunch and variation.

@xav if you place it at the lowest priority and then let them replace it, yes. Someone has made a specific version for the calamity texture pack, though (albeit i am not sure if it is outdated!)

it is already compatible with tmodloader, if you go to the workshop section, you can select texturepacks there, and they copy over to tmod, so just select it there

The workshop button itself is part of base terraria, you can't delete it.

If after canceling the subscription the button that says workshop still appears in the base game is what I want to delete since I deleted its files and when I click on it the game bugs but the workshop button continues to appear in the base game that is what What I want to delete, do you know how?

The latter; a resource pack simply can't optimize every texture on the fly, only a mod intentionally made for such can.

does this affect mods, other resource packs, and that kind of thing? or is it simply a thing that trades load time for efficiency (if that makes sense)

yeah go to workshop, use resource packs, and if you subscribed to it then it should be in the list!
though if you wanna use other packs like lets say saul goodman over moonlord, you have to put it at the very bottom so they can work
