Sadly it doesn't work in 1.4.. (for me atleast.)
The spells doesn't produce anything. No mana crystals and no books. :T

I spotted this class seems to have the same designation as Kure's Rimworld of Magic Class Expansion Pack class of the same name, any chance you could add a prefix so the two mods don't tread on each other's toes?

Bought a “write magic theorem” spell from a random trader.
The intended use for it feels rather weak (at least as cantrip, maybe the actual scholar could make it worthwhile).
But there's a way to exploit it for money, because theorems are created for free and sold.
I got the price of the scroll back from the same exact merchant that sold it to me before he could leave the map.

i don't know if this is a bug from the base mod or yours but i have a very high level scholar with maxed cantrip efficiancy and i now often get prompts saying he gained combat levels after learning some might spells. the problem is i do not have the might tab so i can't spend any of the levels

FIX - in the modfolder go to Defs > ThingDef > MF_crystal > scroll down to MF_Paper > go to compClass > change "<compClass>MF_DLL.UseEffect3</compClass> " to "<compClass>MF_DLL.UseEffect2</compClass>" this should keep the game from crashing but might give both papers same xp since i couldn't find the command line for it

After further investigation it seems like the issue is only with the lower grade papers , the excellent papers don't cause the crash only the basic ones do since there is a 25 % base chance of spawning excellent papers in the beginning you can actually have a run without this problem happening at all for the time this issue isn't fixed just upgrade the write excellent papers chance to max and you have no issue

Issue with scholar, when reading magic theories paper the game tends to crash - modlist -harmony,core,royalty,hugslib,jecstools(unofficial),a rimworld of magic,rw of magic---scholar,EdB prepare carefully, running on 1.2 (issue doesn't always appear, but almost always when you start up the game (new game) and after loading map you use the spell and read the theories it crashes

This is a problem with two other mods that offer skill books, that they aren't worth doing.
