I use this one as a substitute:

I prefer your settlement to vanilla however.
I studied Late Antiquity in grad school. Every time I am picking my way through the Cambridge Ancient or Medieval encyclopedias, or a 600 page book by Brown, Cameron or Mills, I wish I could unwind by playing a deeply detailed TW Attila mod. lol My supervisor would probably write you an angry letter if he knew this is why I was so distracted. Job very well done.
As a historian, and fan of the series it sometimes feels CA has left behind for the Chinese market and Warhammer IP, thank you. I can tell this was a labour of love and I want you to know how appreciated it is.
I got an idea if you would like to make a third one for the series lol
I mistakenly loaded a thrones rigid model pack in attila hoping to use some of the buildings in ted, and as I saw it I remembered that thrones had some roman buildings but with different textures, more old and worn and with timber elements instead of clay rooftiles etc generally speaking, more early medieval.
And that got me thinking, do you think you could do this sort of medieval reskin of roman buildings for use in the charlemagne campaign? I think it would really fit the period, since roman buildings would still be there, but decayed and with roman elements replaced after they decayed, like wood or thatch for roofs or halftimbered walls
I think thrones texture atlases need just a little or no adjustments to work, so what do you think?
i will you renovate the sassanid buildings next? cuz they need more colors than just blue, bright blue and mud.
