It should. It depends on the main files from ApachiiSkyHair, but only uses a female preset, so if you just installed the female Apachii hair (if you can) it should just work.

To TheChocobo, the mods from Nexus are free so that means Apachiiskyhair is...FREE.. You can use the mod manager or download manually. It only costs money if you want be a premium member and avoid the stupid adds while searching. Your problem is solved, so find something else to complain about.

Just make a version that doesnt use the hair from nexus.

for me it works but lydias face+neck gets really dark but the rest of her body dosent

I had a similar issue, but related to another mod that was running that required another master file to launch. This mod requires the Apachii Sky hair mod to launch the game. But to find if that is the issue or not, download Wyre bash and let it tell you which mods you are having problems with. Helped me out when I had to reinstall the other week. I was trying to launch the game with the unofficial Dawngard patch, but didn't have the unofficial Skyrim patch as well. Problem solved. Now the game opens.

Really wish people would stop putting mods that require that stupid hair mod. I'm not paying to get differen't hairstyles and every loser and his mom wants that stupid crap in there mods this is getting rediculous.

@jigafree71 - if it helps, I was using Realvision ENB, CBBE nevernude, high quality eyes, detailed faces and detailed lips. Together those mods really make the game stand out, IMO.

I wonder if I have a mod that makes her face look darker then her skin.

Or do you have any other lydia mods installed?

thanks. i'll need some time to find what is happening. i noticed with on my computer i have a hot_lydia.ini file in my skyrim/data directory. Do you have the same? And can you play by removing the ini?

hey, guy. this mod isn't working for me. when i start the game up, it gets as far as the bethesda insignia, does the music and then shuts off. i've tried both files, and it does the same thing. the only way for me to play skyrim is if i delete it from the data files. hope this gets ur attention.
