Some challenging combat encounters, especially the protected Suppressor was awesome.
Only had some judders here and there.
My playthrough: https://youtu.be/HBbHCjdIHIg
[Combat/Gameplay]: 9/10
[Atmosphere/Scenery]: 7/10
Overall: 8/10, Must Play!
I felt that the base campaign of Half Life Alyx didn't do enough with verticality or fears of heights. I was looking forward to a map like the cliff edge part in Half Life 1.
I had similar expectations with this map but ... unfortunately, I feel that there were missed opportunities.
In this map you are in a tall building that's under construction and the setting is really believable ans well made. There are a few times you really feel like you're so high up and get some vertigo looking over the edge. I just feel that the map missed some kind of climate moments, like where you have to move carefully along an edge or climb up the side of the building from the outside, or a combine moment outside - that would've make it so much better, in my opinion.
Anyway - really loved the map and hope you build on it or make more!
Thank you for the fun time.
- As @KryPixel mentioned, the looping back within certain areas was well done, and did not feel like you were replaying the same level all over again. You certainly maximized the use out of each level.
- My biggest complaint would be that enemy spawning, at times, felt random, and on occasion, almost cheap (Like when you clear a room, head upstairs, and 3 more Combine soldiers almost mysteriously appear beneath you. This was not horrible, but I was scratching my head as to where they could have come from).

The map was nice and tall.
