Right so, I've been testing the mod today and I've found a critical bug that prevented the whole mod from working so it'll be a bit longer whilst I retest everything.

I will say the new updated mod is done, it just needs testing. I was gonna do that today but I've been horrible unwell this morning so I blame Dash for the delay.

@ZerO in the new update can you make immortals immune to disease? And only actually die a true death if they are beheaded? I don't know if there is code in-game that references cause of death, but my immortal me has been killed several times by an assassin with a dagger, and I'm guessing I didn't lie still while they sawed my head off.

just wanted to say i play both with this mod on ck3 and with your infinity stones one on stellaris BOTH are peak and are always a main mod to have on my playlists.

This mod still works perfectly without DLCs. However, like @Intoxicated Pianist, I also get stuck at level < 12 in "some" of my play through. I believe it happens when an immortal of level > 1 dies from an event, the new immortal spans with level 1 immortal trait.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to the new version of this mod. As usual, thanks for providing us a "fun" way to play the game @Zer0.

The new 2.0 version is nearly done, I just need to fix a few issues and do a full playthrough to test everything works. It's all very exciting.

I don't care about the stat upgrade, but it would be cool to upgrade one random stat :)

Perfect, can you make it possible to give your children the immortal trait? I like bringing families with me. Even an optional menu for turning it on and off.

And yes, this means that Immortal hunts will become an activity finally and you can have more than 12 immortals (new hard limit will be 100 😲)

I'm rebuilding this mod from the ground up at the moment, probably going to post it as a new mod as it will be completely incompatible with this one when it drops. Should massively improve everything and add lots of features people have been asking for over the years.

If this helps: I still get the event message to hunt an immortal, but once I do the hunt it says Ive found the next target while showing no one then sends me home. I looked through the character menu and looked for immortals and there arent any.

There's checks for that, if there not killed by someone, it redistributs. Very strange

I only play on Highlander Immortal and this has never happened before. I think it happens when an immortal dies without being killed by someone. For example, if someone died by an event, no one would take their immortality.

You could manually the trait to someone with commands but there's so many failsafes in the mod, I would be extremely surprised that there is one missing

I've hunter every other immortal but im stuck at 11. Is there a way to respawn them or would I need to make a new save?

By default you can't have kids but you can turn it off. Kids cannot inherit immortality. Immortals can be killed by events but not old age or low health. There's not really a way to prevent that.

In the movie, the immortals were unable to have children. Can we still have kids if we use this mod? Because, that's kind of important to the base game! Also, if we can have kids, can we pass immortality down genetically? And does being immortal prevent us from being killed by any other means besides being killed by another immortal?

I use this mod sometimes with a shitload of other mods for multiplayer, even with totalconvs and had no problems there.
But i mostly fix any upcoming problems locally for myself. 😅

Just out of curiosity, would this work in conjunction with another mod? Like, say, LotR: Realms in Exile? Or the World of Darkness mod? As a concept, it would be impossibly awesome to play a Black Numenorean King, hunting down an Immortal King of Arnor or Gondor or something like that.

Great mod! Unfortunately, I encoundered an annoying bug. Any idea how to solve this?
