Holy crapoli Mr Wongburger, you are a mad man! First off, yes I do believe this entry was the best design submitted for the Tribune tower competition. Sure it wasn't a "modern" looking building but if you think about it architecturally....this tower was ahead of its time and fits beautifully in with the post modern/contemporary high-rise buildings we see today. (Dubai for example lets it be known that traditional Islamic design and architecture elements are integral to the skyline.) Visually this helps anchor a building to the city and region where it was built, in direct contrast to the international style of stripped down glass and concrete boxes plopped down in cities the world over, ignoring locality altogether.

Anyway I had no idea how ornate and detailed the tribune tower's Neogothic design features were until I saw your 3d model. This building is insane...and you are even more insane for pulling off these intricate details at the level you have. Seeing your 3rd model has actually made me appreciate this building that much more. So kudos on that.....and congratulations on this model...cause it's pure madness....madness that I have much respect and appreciation for.

@Frog I think the Rockefeller Center from NYC would be a great addition and in the same category as this one... often overlooked, but a great addition to any skyline (plus we got evametrys buildings to complete the set)

@cmdp1989 hey man! I’m probably going to do more obscure buildings people don’t really know or maybe demolished/proposed buildings that were never realized. But I’m open to suggestions.
