Could it be that this mod disables the blood on the ground? Using less blood less gore mod, and none of the blood stays on the ground (playing on ultra)

Yes, but I removed it because due to how some grass works in game, when I add more vegetation to the battlemaps some maps become unplayable because there is too much of it

Hey sorry but did you make a more trees mod but delete it fairly recently? Not the campaign one, it was for battle maps. Added more shrubs, small trees and stuff.

They didn't mention Troy specifically, but they said they have a brand new grass system with GPU generation for Warhammer 3, so I assumed it is from Troy.

Even if it isn't, it will still be much better and different to what we have now

isnt the original reason for a closer grass LOD was to help save some performance? this will cause more areas on your screen to rendered grass more often?

I tried replacing Warhammer 2 Old World textures with originals from Warhammer 1, and noticed first game uses a different approach to lightning (if I remember correctly).

So I just gave up (like CA lol)

I dont think campaign and battle use different models, just different portraits settings\camera

I never modded models so I don't know how to look if it uses different ones for battle\campaign, I think we should ask someone that mod lords\heroes

Swapping campaign models for Old World races with battle models, as portrait is tied to a model.
Means Old World is using LOD models of lower quality.
Maybe it is a bug / broken script?

Yes campaign uses extremely low portrait textures, as if someone switched LOD models with lower textures maybe even lower polygon counts. Its really weird.

Do you think its possible to use proper battle model portraits instead of world map portraits?

that is how it looks in second game. Generally all Old World races have lower texture / normal / specular maps in Warhammer 2.
