"No plans to expand the playable area anywhere past the immediate surroundings of the main village. The full light world (even ignoring probable performance issues) becomes impossible to stitch together well because of inconsistencies in ground levels and normally unseen map edges."
I wanna see teardown guardians.
Or teardown master sword.
You might say it was like a link to my past.
Please do more of this! Amazing work!!!
i may be bias tho
Or, if you want a spoiler:
It's in the secret room behind the bombable wall in the cave.
Thanks
A few answers to questions/comments:
- Other maps from other Zelda games: that's a big "maybe" - this map will still take a lot of work to finish so I'm not even making plans for other ones yet, and translating from the 3D ones will be even more work at least at this level of detail
- Expanding into the lost woods: probably the screen before the actual woods entrance, and maybe the Master Sword glade in some form but not the woods themselves
- The boomerang is a prop in the level, so to use it elsewhere it would need to be actually placed in whatever level you want it in as well, which requires level editing. That said, I can probably do a separate release of some props at some point.
- Max_Xente: that's probably all the important stuff (haven't counted the rupees myself), except the Bombos medallion, which would of course would have been gone for your tally if you used it ...
