However this process is a grueling as it sounds, a truly Sisyphean task, so we can't really blame my friend or any other modder for not managing this in a timely manner, can we?

Why just for AE and not FE though?
They're arrogant, and they think we're all beneath them, but the AI has virtually no objections or response to them. It would be nice if there were galactic community actions or diplomacy options that would let us younger empires oppose AE more strongly, but until then this mod is a must have.
Unless Paradox changed all of the A.I. behavior files for no reason it should work. If it does not let me know ASAP!
