I wonder if this also adds these alternatives to the Colorable solar panels from the Decorative Pack 3, if you do own the pack that is.

Hi Isy, the mod looks great. Are the weights of the solar panels also multiplied by the same ratios as the components or the output?

That's the game engine's fault.. Regular solar panels would also see the sun through the asteroid.. Nothing I can do about that..

I have a few of these set up on an asteroid, and they seem to always be getting full sunlight... even when the sun isnt shining of them. Anyone else getting this same issue?

Does anyone know if @The Dadinator's mod replaces this one or is installed alongside this one?
I don't want to install both on our server only to have to remove one because it's redundant.

Thank you Isy. Side effect of this Mod. My Potato PC has more FPS due to not having to spam multiple vanilla Solar Panels to = same output.

can you pls raise all pannels to start with the 3.2 MW? speak make the 3.2MW as the starter tier and make all after even higher. solar is total underrated in SE. 2= 5.4MW 3= 7.7MW 4= 10.0MW 5= 13.5MW

Can I request that the upgraded solar panels takes more space than regular ones? Currently they felt to be too small.

Knowing that all (or most) of your mods are great I expect the update for the new dlc to happen at some point (I haven't played in a while so don't even remember what last update added :p)

i never had any issues with this mod and weaponcore and since this mod only adds new solar panels there shouldnt be any issues.

They're working now, not sure what happened then. Flipping them on and off didn't do anything, just randomly started working again. Who knows. Glad it's working now though

Just tested them.. They work perfectly fine.. Make sure, they are turned on in the terminal...

They're displaying red like they've been turned off, grinding down and replacing them does nothing and the info page show max energy to be 0mW. Only checked with the x20 ones though

That is completely normal vanilla behavior.. They output only that amount, that is needed by batteries or running machines..

For me the mod works, but although the "Isy's Dense Solar Panel 20x" to 99% sonenlich get they produce instead of 3.2 MW only max 109 KW where at it constantly fluctuates with lower numbers, could that be due to the last update ?

this mod should still work unless keen changed something. check your dedicated server logs if it throws any errors

Is this still active? - or is there another change I'm not seeing by looking at the page for it, in addition to comments...loaded Mod ID into everywhere it needs for a DS - Just like I have with countless other mods, and the DS just ignores this mod on startup.

This would be too overpowered in my Opinion.. A x10k variant would produce 1.6 gigawatt.. That's absolutely unrealistic to have one solar panel powering your whole fleet..

Can you add a x100 and a x1000 variant or even a x10000 variant? would be extremely helpfull and awesome since i really want to rely on green energy and not reactors

Yup - definitely got this working with the alignment script - got 2 solar "arms" on a ship with a "T" arrangement of rotors on each. Aligns them perfectly and they're the 20x variant.

Can anyone comment if they have this working with Isy's Solar Alignment script? Mine seem to give me warning "No solar panels or oxygen farms found" and "Aligned" all the time - means if there's sun they are not moving at all.

Isy - Totally love these panels - makes using solar just way more viable.
Don't know if it's possible but would you be able to make a paintable version, or at least a version in black?
The blue just ruins my jam on some ships!

Nice mod! You don't need to make a large field with solar panels, but put one, and there is a choice of sizes. It's a pity these panels cannot be ordered directly from the assembler.
