Thanks for the compliment. About the geography of the place: Citalli City is situated on some Man-Made islands on a water body in the middle of Greenland.

luckily due to the strict environmental policies the nation has, the nation has mitigated significant damage done to the island (Greenland) by climate change, however, this didn't prevent mass scale flooding of the interior and severed degradation of the ice sheets and permafrost.

Luckily the government was able to help the Ice sheets recover. and took advantage of the situation and placed the city there to make it almost impossible for an advancing army to hit it. from trekking mountains, though lush taiga, across flat and muddy tundra and mammoth steppes, and finally across the water to reach the capital.

Unrealistic: the Arctic sheet won't exist in the future thanks to climate change.

...but anyway, looks good, and a cool idea!

no passangers appearing problem happened to me as well.
So I tried to copy to my local mod folder and added a few starting stations to the map, then it worked, passengers started to spawn normally.
Maybe you should consider adding some starting stations?

I have tried to fix this bug for sometime, and not even the person who i worked with on this map could find anything, we are still in the works of fixing it ASAP, in the mean time, try the thing i told you and see if it helps.

There are no passangers appearing and the map isn't zooming out. it's a shame since i was looking forward to getting this map :(

The people are quick and just in general the metro system is beautiful, so they love it and sometimes ride it for fun, actually quite present in the city. also the 55 million residents just need to go places,

the environment of the city is just a city on an island in the middle of a large body of water and terraformed forest/fjord like landscape, the forest is a dense Snowy Evergreen forest

Maya make a very tiny fraction of the population with only 14 million, so their language isnt a main one.

KyleXian, I appreciate the comment, i am in the works of making a new map for here, one on making a metro for a real city, and one for making a map that the city didn't get its metro built. yet...

The main dominant languages of a nation of +3 billion are the main languages of the dominant ethnic groups of the nation. just note the nation has 10 official languages

The city is a dense place, but has no suburbs or slums, the quality of life is actually quite good in this vast an enormous technocratic city

You do have a point on the trains as because its is a Technocracy that pumped trillion into research, development, science, and Education. and as a result, Citalli City has the ability to make very fast, and futuristic train cars. just note they have to be very fast as the city is extremely large and vast.

And since you mentioned dominant language, why not go one step forward: take Mayan as the dominant one! :-)

OK so now I get the idea how this is related to an alternative future. The parameter setting of the city is indeed weird. Super chilling people with only a few stations being able to explode due to overcrowding, which is also reflected in their speed of hopping on and off the train. Extremely fast trains which corresponds to the techno-driven society. The map also didn't zoom and stations almost stagnate in the first stage but then suddenly everything starts beyond a certain point of time. So do passengers which pop out all of a sudden like ninjas from time to time. Indeed interesting! Thx for uploading the map. BTW, personally speaking a still think it would be great to base on a real place in the world where there is no city but already some obsolete residence so that it could be a good mixture between reality and fiction.

lol, the people in citalli city are actually happy, energetic, diverse, and kind people

However these people are very quick, and will get upset if they cant ride the beautiful Citalli City Imperial Metro

Also fun fact: dominate language is Spanish, Russian, and Inuktitut. but in this nation, Spanish is written in Cyrillic, i wonder why...

I can confirm that starting the map then Exiting to Desktop, restarting Mini Metro and clicking "Resume" loads the passenger counter and passengers started waiting at stations.

The passengers are all very, very patient in this alternate future however! Stations fill up with passengers until they reach the limit of an Interchange but there's no penalty for making them wait forever.

Maybe everyone's just super chill in the future ;)

Sorry for the major Issue yall, Apparently the map has had a bit of bugs when testing, try leaving the game once started and then resuming the game, as that helps, ill quickly work on a bug fix ASAP.

Also for those who didnt read the whole thing well, this isnt a real place, its Mini Metro's first Alt-future map, meaning its a work of fiction.

Cool concept but the passenger counter doesn't load for me and no passengers are waiting at the stations :(
