Terrible stutters when trying to play against 2 AIs, Americans (Hard), British (Standard). Basically unplayable. I mean, what's the point of adding a bunch of cool stuff if the AI can't handle it without ridiculous performance drops.

spearhead I has the KV2, they removed it and replaced it here with the IS-2 instead. you can either download spearhead 1 or just use the IS-2 here.

Is the KV 2 removed form the game by this mod? Been wanting to use it in this mod but cant find how to produce it. Any advice would me really helpful :goldensmile:

I have a question about the Brits, the command choice that says it unlocks the 'Churchill MKIV, Crocodile and AVRE. I'm not sure the latter two unlock? it gives me the Churchill MKIV but no crocodile or AVRE appear?

I.S.Version is great and all I ever play but one thing puzzles me. Playing as the first UK command option (I think it's RTR) I cannot ever activate the Anzac Light Cavalry group from the forward assembly building. A notification says it requires "light armour support" but there seems to be no way to find this thing whatever or wherever it is. Can someone pls explain what I may be overlooking or is it a design glitch? Pls, forgive my ignorance in advance if it seems obvious........

Yes! You can find the Churchill Crocodile under UKF Guard, as that doctrine is somewhat of the "heavy tanks" doctrine for UKF.

At some point in the game, I can no longer produce either mortars or AT guns for Axis. it charges me the cost, but nothing added to the queue. Can you kindly look into it?

Spearhead I's design focus creates a richer PvE experience, while Ironside creates a richer PvP experience.

Hello! I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. Is this a mod a direct continuation of Spearhead I? So is it more advanced and further along in all regards? Is there a point in going back to Spearhead 1?

This mod has a number of issues that need tidying up. Example the Scout teams which are supposed to have access to Sniper Rifles but don't.

FIx your shitty AT system, literally takes 5 minutes for pak 40's and pak 38's and soviet AT guns to shoot at an enemy tank, also AT infantry has to be the biggest joke to ever exist, misses shots from 5 meters away. Fix your mod before you actually call it good, but everything else but the AT system is okay

4) Commander abilities were considered to be too much of a crutch to poor strategy; if a player is performing poorly due to their tactical and strategic decisions, they should not be allowed to reverse their fortunes at the press of a button. Instead, they should bear the consequences of their actions and lose. Conversely, someone who outplays someone else should not have their victory taken away from them by overpowered abilities.

I assure you, every decision made in Ironside was made with balancing in mind. For example, for each of your concerns:
1) IS-2s were moved from Soviet Tank to Soviet Shock as a means of buffing Soviet Shock against infantry, nerfing Soviet Shock against tanks, and changing the timing for Soviet Tank to prevent it from being a "fuel drop into IS-2" doctrine; to that end, the IS-2 change was successful.
2) I don't know what you're talking about with regards to Stuarts.
3) Some 57mm guns *do* have more penetration than 75mm guns. Simply because one gun has a higher calibre compared to another gun does not mean that the higher calibre gun has a higher muzzle velocity. I don't think you'd disagree when you look at the long barreled Soviet ZiS-2 57mm gun compared to the higher calibre yet slightly lower velocity German 7.5 cm KwK 40?

Sad to see whats become of this mod. Was so great, then now it's not anymore. IS-2 had hard nerf, some how stuarts, and 57mm guns do more pen then 75mm guns and some tanks.
Commander ability all but gone. As some said, this point. Spearhead 1 is just better.

It is not a bug that Wehrmacht cannot build manpower caches; this was a deliberate design decision to split the way Allies and Axis gain resources in the game.

The principal difference between Ironside and Spearhead I is that Spearhead I is more tailored for the PvE experience as it has more units you can freely use and more big explosions to play with. Ironside is tailored for a more balanced PvP experience but it comes at the expense of unit variety.

This mod *is* Spearhead II; it's simply going under a different branding due to previous negotiations. Believe me, this outcome is not what I would consider ideal, but it is the agreed upon outcome.
