Actually, the white Eagle isn't necessary. The eagle is part of the coat of arms. Flags can be used with the coat of arms of their country, and without... Sometimes both.

using cavalry in the defense against tanks sounds like a bad idea anyway it worked haha mostly cause cavalrymen were dismounting their horses all the time and were using at rifles pretty effectively

If you would read the description you would see recommended balance is 1:2 (for germans ofc) and recommended gamemode is point match (and number of bots around 40)

when I try to play as the Germans here on battle, it is basically impossible to win strategically; not only that, my troop numbers drop automatically by ab one every few seconds or so even when they're not getting hit (when I set them to simply defend the base). ???

popular doesnt mean good, stalingrad was street fighting, it was unexpected but berlin? just a bunch of rockets desotrying the city while the shock army kills everybody, the polish campaing is much more interesting, mostly bec of the supirior polish tp7 tank
