im doing a singleplayer infiniite/dense run and I'm using this as my starter/mothership to hopefully build massive stations on astroids all around the map =D

Convert it to heavy armour is a little better but the solar panels just get utterly mashed up ! Solar flares and asteriods are at the moment over taxing, even on the lowest setting they dastroy stuff faster than you can mine and repair it, so its a loose loose game if you have it on, its a very hard thing to program for, to get believable and balanced.I have them off, but heres what I do, I use SETOOLBOX to move an asteriod, you can put them any where, then I add speed in setoolbox to the steriod, usually under 10m/s or it will lag system when its near a base or large ship, and it drifts right through the system, it takes about 5 hours to cross the map, does not stop for anything, if you in the way your dead, another way is to go into creative, fill inventory with whatever recourse rock you want, setoolbox your position to 30,000m or whatever drop rock at speed in direction you want it travelling.........Deadly....

Pasted it into server, people seem to love to RAM that thing ! Pieces fly off everywhere when you crash through wings ! One guy tried to keep it, but he just couldnt, everyone chasing, him dieing ! Funny ship but.

Go to mod section on KEEN FORUMS and find the SKYBOX mod to change the backround, which is a skybox.

At the current status of SE, this ship rocks! It has that exploration feeling to it, the solar panels and low energy consumption is aweseome! This is the ship I start every game with.

thanks for the feedback. as far as survival, a friend and i tried it last night and honestly it makes things too easy as the only reason to build anything else is for the coolness factor of building something lol. i think pretty soon i am going to send the valkyrie sailing away into the abyss, leaving our "colony" to continue on its own. but this makes a great fallback point/learning scenario for first time survival players

This may be one of the best works i have seen so far. Can't wait to test it out in an actual survival scenario. Real good work bro.
