Perfect drop ship! I'm using the 6 bay version of your carrier and loving how everything fits together so well and how much work you obviously put into all your deigns. You are an Empyrion God! :-)

Absolutely love this DropShip Module for use with my faction's Solaris Station. Wonderful for taking down HV's for POI raiding or even resourcing in and out of system since it's jump capable.

Only one thing between this and the Supremacy irks me. The Apollo is 2 blocks wider than the other Helios modules so it doesn't fit into the Supremacy's Helios Bays. :(

Thanks webwolf1! It should dock, however, if it has any HV/SV's docked to the module it will not. So, typically you would want to get it in dock position then unload any docked creations from it, then dock it again till you get the dock clamp sound. I hope that helps. Thanks again!

Am I doing something wrong? This module fits into the back bay of the Helios MSC but it doesn't seem to 'dock'. When I move over the helios and try to move it leaves the Apollo behind.

@jrandall I have to say this is a concept I'd wanted since A 7.5. I always looked at those wrecked CVs and thought "why can't we use it as a base, then upgrade it and make it fly?" I usually did the BA to CV switch-er-oo but this....oh my....this is just living the dream. I'm getting ready to do a new playthrough in RE and this WILL be at the top of my must have list. I'm using the 2 bay Helios in my survival with the P Module and Hydro Module and using the MCRN Pioneer as my "drop ship". Yes, you can back it directly against the hangar door and the ramps align nicely. I did add some smaller landing gear to the back of the Pioneer for true "docking". Love the work and your videos!

Thank you Grollwerk and Lohke! @Grollwerk, what Lohke said is correct. There is a Long range radar in Reforged Eden that is functional. In vanilla you really have no use for that area where the radar gets placed. And thanks again all!

@Grollwerk if you're playing RE then there is a long range radar that can be unlocked via the skill tree. Additionally, RE does allow for deconstructors to be placed on a CV. It's one of many differences between RE and vanilla.

Playing RE. This module is pretty cool. But what is a long range radar what can go on the top? There is only a radar deco item with no use in the game. Sensors do not fit. And I can not add deconstructors cause it is a CV

Thanks Blackmadman. Well, it depends on the options you are playing the game with. However, you have a good point that it does exceed max weapon count for that weapon type. This was allowed on the server I was playing on, however would limit it to only some servers. I may remove 4 turrets or replace 4 with another type. Thanks for the heads up. When I built this I didn't have the stock weapon limits in mind. Thanks again!

Thank you all. I will check this out to see what is up with that block error and update the blueprint. I am not sure at the moment what changed or why it has the problem now. It is possible that the turrets need to be removed and added back again. I had that issue with another build. Thanks again all!

Awesome Work, but anything isn`t allowed on V1.5 Servers and the Name is Orange (i try it in official branch test server, official 1.5 server and our own server) but single player seems to work. and i cant find what´s the problem. no blueprint limits, all bps allowed

Thank you All! @HardcoreEwok, I haven't been able to replicate that issue. I am on the latest version of RE and it is showing fine. I will double check again thou. @(M3) Russel, you would want to be in the first person cockpit, then line up the crosshair to the LCD guides in this case on the left side of the rear docking bay on the Helios. They should help make sure you are at the right angle, height, etc. Once that is done, just fly forward until you hit the wall, I would push up for second then let off the controls. The ship should be docked and in the right position then. @Aaron(Wakfu), I really don't do request ships as these things tend to take a long time and I really do not like doing replica's or going from concept art or pictures. I love seeing different stuff thou, and it can inspire me to maybe do something like it, or follow some design ideas. And thanks again all!

it's a neat ship but its very hard to dock, is there any tricks to doing so? It tend to take about 10 to 15 min on average to dock. Could jut be me and I'm missing something.

Just wanted to let you know the latest update may have broken the Apollo HGD1 and Plutus M2 blueprints? I had both in my blueprint library before the 1.4.3 update working great with Reforged Eden 1.4
After the 1.4.3 update though, they show up as Red in the blueprint library with red text "wrong version"
Prefabinfo for Apollo HGD1 didn't really show anything wrong, but prefabinfo for Plutus M2 said "12 mining lasers applied, but only 6 allowed."
I copied both blueprints to my local blueprints, spawned them and re-saved under a different name. My versions aren't showing up as invalid anymore, and I don't notice any differences (the Plutus M2 still has all it's wonderful mining lasers too!)

Obligatory: your uploads are amazing. Even when I'm burned out from Empyrion I like to occasionally check in on the workshop to see what crazy wonderful things you make. Thanks!

Thank you all! @madnezz, Thanks for the info! I just updated the blueprint to and got cargo bay 3 to 320K. @SoCalExile, the big problem with those bays is not really the width, but those bars on the frame of the ship for deco more or less that stop a module like CV that could dock with a door like the standard modules as it can't be tall enough either. I tried making something to fit nicely there and dock to the ship and it just is not working out well. That is why I keep thinking 6 standard module bays instead of those open areas would just work out better. Same size ship, ~pretty much the same price too. And thanks again all!

@jrandall I thought about it and you don't need to redo the Helios. Smaller specialized modules are useful - such as a half-module dedicated to growing and refining pentaxid (with an isolated growing room), or one for ammo with garden plots for plant fibers, or one set up as a medical lab/hospital/manufacturing center. Or just do smaller versions of the already existing modules.

Another idea for the half bays is a CV with a repair block that you can pop out to repair the rest, though I'm not sure if a CV can repair a CV.

And another idea is not a CV but a SV or even a space-launched HV built for surface mining/harvesting, since the existing mining CV is specialized for asteroid mining. Just some ideas.

First off, JRandall I am and remain a massive fan. Another great creation! :) Just a note, for Vanilla, the cannon/mini gun turrets are over the limit. To be used in a vanilla setting those combined need to be reduced by 4. Just a note for folks o/

@SoCalExile If only Docked ships could have Docked ships.... Then having small hangers mounted in there with SVs sitting in them would be SO useful! If only someone with serious skills could build small hangers in those spaces so they were a part of the ship... Then we could dock our SVs in there...

@jrandall Those half-bays could house smaller cargo modules, drop modules or launch bay modules for SVs. In lieu of those, I think modding the ship to accept 3 full modules on each side makes more sense.

Thank you all! @Tarsis, I didn't do that there as I would lose all the block shaping/texturing in the area. Not a bad idea thou. @Morantz, I kind of now regret having those open areas between the regular module bays. At first I was trying to make some deployable CV sentry defense ships to dock there, however it is really awkward and doesn't work out super well. I kind of wish I just did 6 regular bays in the same space. It comes out to the same size ship that way as well. I am on the fence if I should modify the BP's for both the RE and vanilla version of the ship to do that, however that could mess some people up maybe as well. @Karmen Cider, I tried at first to name modules Helios, but so many authors are making them and that also can be confusing in names. What I did is made a Helios Module Collection with all known modules and support creations. The link is at the top of the post. And Thanks again all!
