oh heck, i totally forgot about the strongs thing. ye thats correct!

the moon is what i like to call "on-hit fuel" which means moves that do special things on hit get their on hit when hitting the moon just like any other opponent. this means you can do stuff out of upb cutter with the slide or do a sideb jump for momentum. it also repeats your strongs, which can be really useful with ustrong

yeah, hitting it is the only interaction (for now)
what it is, is because her gimmick is pretty much on-hit stuff, like dspecial, uspecial cutter dash IASA or fspecial jump cancel and all that, and with the "moon", you'd have a free hit for you to do that wherever you put it

I don't know if I'm just missing something, but is there any way to interact with the n-special "moon" outside of hitting it, or am I missing something?

Sad Fact : I was insulted by someone on RoA France on Discord that I am "bad timing" towards Ao.
Something like "BUT WHY YOU FREELY INSULATE WHO HAS DID NOTHING TO YOU WHEN MARIO P!SS!ING IS THE WORST CHARACTER OF THE WS ?!".
