Yeah, crafting in vanilla is a hell of a chore. Especially if you are trying to make a top tier ship. Needing at least 160 Sacred Wood, and 60 Rune bone (at minimum to get a full 12 movement & 20000 set weight). It takes well over 150 turns to gather that much. It's a boring 'click for next turn slog'.
